This series of 60 oil paintings, each one about 10 x 14 cm, is an investigation of all that worries Rini Brakkee. Forest fires caused by draught due to climate change, plastic pollution of the oceans, the immense suffering and environmental disaster that is the meat industry, and the humans that are like Gods in this world. The last part of the series zooms out even more, to the scale of the stars and galaxies, in which earth is an insignificant blue dot. This series questions how to live a good life on an individual level, with the knowledge of a global, or even universal level.
