Out Where

Words and lines in the city, coming together in a book to form a poem. The book is about getting older in the city, the streets filling up with memories, the city becoming like a walk-in photo album. When walking through this photo album questions arise: what was the essential part of my life? What will death be like and what will I leave behind? One conculsion is that feeling connected is very important, but the city is a place where this is hard to achieve. I emphasised this by photographing rather desolate places, without people in them, so the only reference to this connection is the text. The text is the mark we all want to make, especially in the city where individualism and the loneliness that comes with it are most apparent.
